#WearItPink when it’s Breast Cancer Awareness month

3

For almost 20 years, October has been Breast Cancer Awareness month, bringing light to a cause close to many of our hearts. Statistically breast cancer is currently the most common type of cancer contracted, however, each year the month is dedicated to educating men and women about the disease, and raising money to fund research into a cure.

STYLIGHTers from every department wearing it pink.

With the pink ribbon as its symbol, the colour has become synonymous with the charity and so on Friday, 24th October, we swapped our classic purple for a lighter shade of fuchsia and showed our support for the Wear it Pink initiative.

STYLIGHTers from across all departments turned out to make a pink wave of support. With a donation box collecting 435,00 Euros from each and every one of us, STYLIGHT topped up the box with a company donation of 565,00 Euros, which will be split between the different countries we represent.

From fuchsia to dusky rose – every shade of pink was represented.

Wearing the perfect pink accessories.

With fashion always at the forefront of our daily life, we wanted to take the opportunity to show our support (and style!) by both looking good and doing good. So join us by binning the beige, saying goodbye to grey, and wearing it pink!

  1. You guys from Stylelight suck!! stealing ideas of applicants without paying for them! shame on you!
For all the readers: Stylight collect campaign ideas for the company through applicants without even inviting them for an interview and afterwards use them as their own. Embarrasing

    • Dear Oliva Manzorro, thank you for your message. STYLIGHT does not use ideas given to us by applicants, we have a huge creative team who all provide ideas which go through many evaluation channels before being implemented. Please contact the person at HR who attended to you on the 28th February 2014 to verify again why your application for jr. Online Marketing Manager was rejected. They would be happy to discuss this matter further via phone or e-mail as the Inside STYLIGHT blog is not the appropriate medium. At the moment there are plenty of other opportunities within STYLIGHT across our three offices which can all be found on our website or LinkedIn which could be a better match for your skills.
