Last week we had our first ShipIt day at the STYLIGHT IT department. It’s a 24h hackathon where you can work on your own ideas to improve the product or workflows. Get creative, get radical, learn something new & have fun. Do stuff you normally don’t have time for or is not your responsibility. Team up and pitch the outcome on the next day. Here is a quick overview of our projects:
The Zone
A website for all high-fashion articles priced over 400€ provided by STYLIGHT – The ZONE!
The Couch Mode
The Couch Mode is a super simple and comfy way to browse and save products. Simply swipe right to save or left to skip.
Wo hockst’n du?
By combining our internal Facesheet with a map of our office, everybody can now look up who is sitting where.
STYLIGHT iPad App
A quick adaption of the regular STYLIGHT App to support iPads. Both portrait and landscape mode are possible to view through rotation. The slide out menu turns into a fancy transparent menu overlay and filters are presented in a popover view for easy browsing.
Translucent Android App
Including the Android notification bar and control buttons into the general App design for a more consistent appearance & immersive user experience.
CONFIgurator
Upload an image of yourself and try out different outfits with immediate feedback if the clothes suit you or not.
Product Dive
A configurable bubble visualisation of our tags and products catalog using d3.js.
Goool
A stylish soccer betting game for the upcoming World Cup in Brazil using AngularJS. Because we all love soccer here!
Chromecast Tutorial
A Chromecast supported tutorial on how to use the STYLIGHT page, create Looks etc.
