Stylight New York party, dedicated to the launch of Stylight in the US was a smashing success! Thanks to our incredible partners for the event, ROOT Studios, we held the launch party in the Chelsea area of New York.
The Stylight US launch party took place at the Root Studios.
The evening began with a delicious a dinner party on the rooftop of ROOT, with various digital and fashion industry VIPs and the Stylight team from Munich in attendance. Our logo was projected on the building across the street, so everyone knew we’d arrived.
DJ Alexandra Richards proved that music is in the Richards’ blood, following in her dad, Keith’s, footsteps by providing the amazing tunes for the evening. Everyone was on their feet, soaking up the upbeat, exciting atmosphere.

Much like our favourite photo booth at Stylight HQ, we set up a photoshoot “booth” for guests to pose with our iconic heart balloons — the results were hilarious! Guests could pose for three shots and have them printed instantly, as a memento of the evening.

Our personal highlight of the night was the incredible flash mob, who showed us how New Yorkers really party, shaking it off to Taylor Swift’s hit song. Choreographed by the incredibly talented Celia Rowlson-Hall, who has also worked with the likes of Vogue, hit TV show Girls, and Vanity Fair. The Instagram fallout was incredible, with videos, photos and hashtags flying left, right and centre within seconds of the mob descending.

The whole event was incredible from start to finish; after making our mark on New York City, we’re ready more than ever to take on the land of the free and the home of the brave.
