Stylight Thrift Shop: Shopping For A Good Cause

What, What, What, What? – Macklemore

Yes, it’s that time of the year again: Christmas is approaching fast and we’re all very much in the mood for giving and receiving of course. And what could be a better way to satisfy this desire? You are right: a charity flea market! Shopping for a good cause – who could ask for more?

Taking place in no other location than our very own Headquarter based in Munich’s heart we gathered some of the most stylish Stylighters and the most exciting local influencer talents (Stylingliebe, Biluca, The Classy Cloud, Merna Mariella, Moments of Fashion, Noahamywhite, Fashionambit, Anni Sophie and Paula Handrick) to fill a total of 17 booths with the most amazing second hand treasures

50% of all earnings went to Make A Wish e.V. Deutschland, an organisation which fulfils wishes of children who suffer life-threatening diseases, so that them and their families can have unforgettable moments which give them hope and strength. With the Stylight earnings (bar, entrance and Stylight’s booths) we managed to earn more than 1.6k EUR in donations.

Next to all the booths of pieces of our closets full of “nothing to wear”, DJ Shure Shot (Frauen26, Crux & Downtown Flash) was providing the perfect soundtrack to pop some tags and partners like Ikea, Huubert Weinschorle, Isar Dogs and Lillet provided their amazing specials.

One of our personal highlight of this “casual” Saturday was the incredible Danny Beuerbach (famous Munich hairdresser) cutting hair live on the thrift shop stage for the good cause.

You think that this is amazing enough? Well, then let that sink in: the Stylight Weekend collection (our capsule collection with Lookabe) had its amazing pre-launch sales at the event.

Missed it? And ready to pop some tags? Fear not! This amazing events shouts for a repeat!
Thanks to everyone who came and helped us raising money for the Make A Wish Foundation!
